Hayley Alice Roberts and Darren Gaskell are back to take a look at movies of "any genre, any year and any quality" in an episode which people are already calling Episode 7 of The HD Movie Podcast!
Kicking off this episode is another movie challenge and it's Darren's turn to pick the movie. After the recent horror and sci-fi outings, it's time for a refreshing and somewhat trippy change as the film in question is the 1980 musical (and box-office flop) that is XANADU!
After all of that, is there time for another surreal jaunt into the world of Public Information Films? You bet there is! This time, we're in 1981. The focus is on road safety, a clown and some blatant product placement in Frank Prendergast's THE BALLOON!

It's Episode 6 of The HD Movie Podcast! Hayley Alice Roberts and Darren Gaskell are back to take a look at two movies which fit the podcast's remit of "any genre, any year and any quality".
First up, Hayley challenges Darren to watch the 1999 Disney Movie Channel original CAN OF WORMS, a family friendly sci-fi movie which is now available on, unsurprisingly, Disney+. What did gorehound Darren make of this one? You might be surprised...
Following this, it's back to the weird and wonderful well which is the Public Information Film, and it's a doozy this week! We had to the railway line for John Krish's surreal THE FINISHING LINE!

It's Episode 3 of The HD Movie Podcast! After the Christmas Special and the Top Ten 2020 Horror countdown, Hayley Alice Roberts and Darren Gaskell finally settle into the usual format of the podcast (as much as there's a format).
First, Darren confronts 1999 teen romcom SHE'S ALL THAT in the Movie Challenge. Did he find something to like this time round or did he get angry once again about Rachael Leigh Cook's makeover?
Following this, our hosts move on to the 1977 Public Information film APACHES, a 26-minute warning that there's all sorts of stuff on a farm that can kill you.

Instead, 'tis the season for Chrimbo content as our festive film fans get to grips with I'LL BE HOME FOR CHRISTMAS, CHRISTMAS WEDDING PLANNER and KRAMPUS! Grab yourselves a glass of mulled wine and a mince pie and enjoy!
