Episode 22: FACE OFF! #1 - Reese Witherspoon: Cruel Intentions/Freeway

It's time for Episode 22 of the The HD Movie Podcast and this time out our hosts unveil a dramatic new segment (complete with dramatic new segment music from Mitch Bain) called FACE OFF! And it's not a look at the John Woo film.

So what's Face Off about? We're glad you asked. Your hosts Hayley Alice Roberts and Darren Gaskell choose a specific acting talent and then pick two of their movies to compare, contrast and decide upon a winner in terms of performance and film.

The first recipient of the Face Off treatment is none other than Reese Witherspoon and the movies covered are 1996's FREEWAY (directed by Matthew Bright) and 1999's CRUEL INTENTIONS (directed by Roger Kumble). There's reminiscing to be done about VHS and, yes, there is discussion of *that* kiss.
